Finally a person who isn't hiding the truth about human hair!

I came across this book while in search of info on hair manufactures. This book is just what I needed. I'm a perfectionist and want the best when it come to my clients and I. I didn't want to buy or sell "stupid hair" anymore. This book explains why hair mats sheds and how all these textures came about. The one thing I got out of the book that I wasn't expecting is realizing I do want to be a part of getting my piece of the billions of dollars being made annually by the Asian controlled hair industry. If you are real about hair weave and Extentions read this book!

Typically I leave few reviews, but this one is a must!

Alix tells the raw truth and several hidden secrets about the industry. Several answers are revealed to
questions stylists, wig-makers, beauty supply store owners, and consumers wearing weaves and wigs questioned
for years. She's not afraid of being outspoken and shares personal experiences along with pictures of her
multiple trips to India. Plus, it's loaded with lots of laughs which keep you rollin'.

She goes deep into the trade itself and devotes several chapters on the influential roles of India, China and Korea.
Even how the hair is obtained, purchased, processed, packaged and deceitfully sold was thoroughly explained. Those were key details which she explained in grand details. I love how she unravels the marketing schemes on Peruvian, Mongolian, Malaysian, etc. All I will say is...INTERESTING revelation!

I truly enjoyed the book since I'm a wig ventilator and knew various facts, but still took away several jewels. I appreciate
her colorful language (at times), her courage in publishing and her eagerness to educate anyone who buys human hair. She can definitely help you learn how to make wiser purchases, save money and most of all...recognize righteous hair.

Surely we are not Christians if we are not in these dispositions. Therefore I say, and this will immediately be clear to anyone who gives a little thought to the truths I have outlined, that all Christians ought to be martyrs, if not in actual fact, at least in intention and in will. So true is this, that if they are not martyrs of Jesus Christ, they will be martyrs of Satan. Choose whichever of the two you love more. If you live under the tyranny of sin, you will be a martyr to your self-love and your passions, and consequently a martyr to the devil. But if you desire to be a martyr of Jesus Christ, you must strive to live in the spirit of martyrdom. What is the spirit of martyrdom? It is a spirit that had five excellent attributes: 1.it is the spirit of strength and constancy which fears only God and sin, and cannot be shaken or overthrown, either by promises or threats, by persuasion or violence. 2.It is the spirit of deepest humility, which feels only horror for the vainglory and publicity of the world, and loves contempt and humiliations. 3.It is the spirit of self-mistrust and of most firm confidence in Jesus Christ our Lord, our Strength, in whom all things can be done. 4.If is the spirit of perfect detachment from the world and everything that is in the world. Those who are to sacrifice their lives to God must also sacrifice to Him all else besides. 5.It is the spirit of most burning love for our Lord Jesus Christ, who leads those animated by this spirit to do all and suffer all for love of Him, who dies and suffered all for them. It so inflames them that, for love of Him, they consider mortification and suffering to be a paradise of joys, to be sought and desired while they avoid and detest the pleasures of this world as much as they would hell itself. This is the spirit of martyrdom,. Implore, O Lord, who is the King of Martyrs, to fill you with this spirit. Pray to the Queen of martyrs, and all the martyrs, too, that they may obtain this spirit for you from the Son of God, by their holy prayers. Cultivate a particular devotion to the saintly martyrs. Make a point, also, of praying for all those who will have to suffer martyrdom, in order that God may grant them the spirit and grace of martyrdom. Pray especially for those who will have to suffer the persecution of antichrist at the end of the world, for it will be the most cruel and horrible of all persecutions. Finally, strive to develop within yourself, by imitation, a perfect image of the lives of the holy martyrs and, what is more, the life of the King and the Queen of martyrs, Jesus and Mary, so that they may make you worthy to resemble them in death.

This book is very enlightening! I've always been the type to call myself somewhat of a "conspiracy theorists" . I've always been fascinated with the world we live in. We go through everyday life basking in the glory of celebrities, sports, social networks, & materialistic items which brings us nothing but distractions. This book really sharpened the saw of knowledge in my mind to the true "LIGHT" of America. Our people of this generation are subliminally blinded to the truth. I encourage everyone to open your minds. Blinded by lies will only create an illusion of false sense of all. Open up to the truth and spread the word. The world we now live in is slowly but surely changing for the worst. As people there isn't anything my brother nor sister can do but leave it up to God. I encourage everyone to get their life's right with the man above because we are at war with the evil. This book is a must download for everyone.

It was enlightening to see the order of events showing how hip hop has invaded our culture. To see the dark side of it is important. Even though the author is not sophisticated in her writing style, she is real in her sincerity and personal observations. This stuff is well worth knowing.

Wow! I love it! Craving Her Curves 2 is the second book in Nora Stone's Craving Her Curves Series and it is absolutely delightful. And yes, I said series as in multiple parts. This is by no means a short story and is long enough to be considered a novel but it does have somewhat of a cliffhanger. So readers please be forewarned, if you are looking for a happily ever after in this first or second book, you won't find it. What you will find is a wonderfully written happy for now but looks very promising for a happily ever after in Book Three. The story is upbeat, well developed, enjoyable, satisfying, sweet, romantic and sensual. It is a delicious slice of contemporary romance with a side order of humor and just a smidge of angst which I found to be delightfully cute and pleasantly entertaining. The dialogue is intelligent and flows well. The characters are the main components of this story and I found them to be smart, funny, captivating, engaging, endearing, well rounded and sexy. Stone skillfully crafts these elements into a wonderfully entertaining and pleasantly satisfying story. Charlotte Rivera is a writer for Pinks, a well known women's magazine based in Dallas. She loves her job and her articles have helped more than a few struggling new businesses and their owners. Her latest assignment has her more than a little perplexed. She is scheduled to interview Joey Parker, a very eligible bachelor and star football player with the Bullets, for the magazine's upcoming Sexiest Guy In Football Feature and she knows absolutely nothing about football. What the heck was her editor thinking? But after meeting Joey, she quickly realizes that there is a lot more to this football player than his good looks and sexy persona. Charlotte is quite taken with the man himself and it seems that Joey is quite enamored with the beautiful, curvy Charlotte. Sparks fly and passions ignite but as in life, there are always challenges waiting to make their presence known and douse the flames of love. In Book One, Charlotte was physically assaulted and kidnapped by a psychotic football fan/stalker who was convinced that Charlotte was evil and did not deserve Joey. After her rescue Charlotte begins to question her decision to date Joey and breaks off their relationship while still in the hospital recovering from her injuries. To help her recover from the residual emotional injuries from her abduction, Charlotte agrees to see a therapist who helps her heal and regain her courage and independence. But Charlotte slowly realizes that she is truly unhappy without Joey and apparently, he's just as miserable without Charlotte. He aches for the curvy vivacious journalist and desperately wants her back in his life. Oh my! No spoilers for Book Two but I will say this.....Beautiful, curvy magazine writer-check! Handsome, sexy football player-check! Wonderful and interesting cast of characters-check! Romance, a forever kind of love, family drama, wonderful friends, humor and a trip to Vegas with an unexpected plot twist-you bet! If you're looking for a thrill ride, this isn't your book, but if you're looking for a sweet contemporary romance filled to the brim with fun and three close friends who are the modern day reverse gender equivalent of the three musketeers - all for one and one for all - then this is your book! I can hardly wait to read Book Three! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

That's all I'm going to spill so read and love it like i did

**** I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*****Joey and Charlotte are back together. Joey's team has a game in Vegas so Charlotte goes along. They stay in separate room the night of the game but are together the other nights. Charlotte sees something and it gets her upset so she goes to Joey's room knowing he is asleep but he lets her in so they can talk. The coach hears them and tell Joey he can't play the next day. That's all I'm going to spill so read and love it like i did......

Joey and Charlotte are made for each other.. The first book had its ups and downs with them, but this book showed how much they really cared about each other..
